Colindale is an area which I have know since childhood as many of my friends from my school Claremont high lived there and often spoke about it. There where two buses which went there if my memory serves me well the 79 and the 79a. We as children loved to venture out into areas which we had no place to be and Colindale was one of those areas.One of our favourite things was to hang on the back of the 83 bus which was a joy ride for us as youngsters.
